How to Deal With the Impact of COVID 19 Lockdown
On April 5, 2022 by George MerellThe world appears to be in turmoil amid this chaos as the world struggles to fight the covid19 pandemic. Fear, panic, uncertainty, and despair are the terrifying monsters that hover over all of us, trying to kill them.
Despite the demons’ terrifying presence, there appears to be a light of hope in the population. The sunshine comes through a cheerful attitude shared by all of us.
Turning COVID Into an Opportunity
The anxiety that accompanied the COVID 19 lockdown caused emotional distress to many individuals. The result was major changes to our daily lives and unexpectedly negative outcomes. But, we can turn this crisis into a chance. How?
First of all, this lockdown is a unique chance for a family to spend quality time together. The entire family can participate in more creative activities such as baking, gardening, cooking, and sketching as everyone is home. Parents can spend time together with children and take part in everyday activities, which help to strengthen families’ bonds.
The second reason was that the lockdown provided people with more time, which they might use in a creative way to take good care of themselves or even learn new skills or hobbies. Overthinking, worrying, and losing hope are signs of not utilizing time efficiently. This is why people can balance exercise, sleep or leisure, socializing online, and relaxation.
Thirdly, confinement offers an excellent opportunity to reignite your passion and build new capabilities. Because the dread of contracting the pandemic may be more dangerous than the virus itself, we should make ourselves aware of how to handle anxiety and stigma. This means that we must be mindful of the various reactions to stress.
Fourth The lockdown provides an opportunity to adopt a healthy lifestyle. It is possible to alter our way of life into healthier. For instance, we can cultivate vegetables in our free space in our homes. Because we can’t leave the house, we can consume fresh fruits and vegetables instead of packaged items. Therefore, it’s time to put our energies into things that will benefit our health and the overall well-being of our psychosocial beings.
Fifth, since knowledge is power, The lockdown is a great opportunity to sit down and write. Each day, devote at least 30 minutes to studying. You can already acquire numerous products to ease your boredom in this brief amount of duration.
In the end, this type of adversity allows for building resilience. We’ve gone through a lot together. It began with major earthquakes that caused havoc to the lives of our citizens and livelihoods. Then, it progressed into African swine disease (ASF). This pandemic virus is caused by landslides and torrential rains, and earthquakes. This Pandemic COVID 19 isn’t over as of yet. The quake has returned to terrify us!
Conclusion
It’s good to know that people have realized this and are now getting their news from multiple reliable sources. The result is that newspapers are closing, and users are turning to stream to “cut the wire” for what they would like to see. So, what are your options now? Hospitalizations, infections, and deaths appear to be decreasing. Medical experts believe that we’ll be back to normal by fall, whichever that is. Do what you consider to be right. Make use of common wisdom. Gather as much information feasible from various sources.
